Amazing Winter Wine Experiences! Half-Day, Full-Day, or Multi-Day.

Winter Wine Tours From Vernon. “When the mountains and vineyards are blanketed in snow, the Okanagan Valley becomes a fairy tale, cozy setting you won’t find in wine country any other time of the year. It’s the best time to connect with friends and take it easy while visiting new wineries (and revisiting old favourites). The wine shops are uncrowded and winemakers often emerge from their cellars to pour wine and visit with their guests. Tasting rooms are cozier than usual with festive decorations and winter charm.

The laid back pace and picturesque landscape aren’t the only reasons to visit Okanagan Wine Country in the winter.  Many of the local wine trails (and the wineries on them) band together to host easy-going seasonal events such as night markets, vineyard light-ups, culinary classes, and a variety of intimate soirees that just wouldn’t be possible to pull off during peak touring months.” -Shauna Merritt/Tourism Kelowna

“Most wineries in Kelowna, West Kelowna, and Lake Country are open year-round for tastings and tours. So if you are a local with visitors in town, or a traveller exploring the area, including the epic powder at Big White Ski Resort, make sure you add winery tours into your winter calendars. You won’t be disappointed.” – Shauna Merritt/Tourism Kelowna

With over 270 wineries to choose from, it’s no surprise that first-time visitors to the Okanagan are often overwhelmed by the number of wineries to visit. Always eager to help out a fellow wine lover, we’ve lined up a few favorite experiences to showcase the Okanagan’s diverse terroir and to educate the public about wine and wine tasting in an unpretentious environment.

If you are looking for an amazing staff outing experience, I would look no further! Reign and Allen put together an amazing package for our staff event and everyone was very impressed. The service was second to none and we highly recommend the Cheers team. – Jamie Kaban, GM Kelowna Toyota

“We were picked up from the Hotel in Kelowna for an all day wine tasting tour which included lunch. We shared the tour with another local couple called Les and Nancy who were great fun to share the day with.

Our guide from Cheers was John who was very knowledgeable and an excellent host. He made sure the whole tour was a fantastic experience. We visited 6 small wineries, each with very different characteristics and styles of wine. There were 4 different types of wine to taste at each (8 at the final one!) and each had an informative representative to explain their particular vineyard.

Lunch was provided by Cheers and taken at one of the wineries and included cooked meats, cheese, olives etc. to a very high standard.

On our return to the Hotel it was a surprise to meet Lou who had been waiting for us to check if the tour had lived up to our expectations. Customer service above and beyond.

Overall this was an amazing and very memorable experience for 2 Brits who had never tasted Canadian wine previously or even knew they had such an extensive wine making region.”
